July – September 2018

This year, I vowed to make plans for summer and make the most of it. Well, I pretty much failed at that and didn’t do nearly the things that I had hoped for, but we still got out and enjoyed ourselves.

We continued on with our regular activities, like our Home Depot workshops, but we also had a trip to the coast with some friends, which included a hike on Cascade Head. On a separate trip to the coast, we took a ride on the OregonĀ Coast Scenic Railroad, which the kids enjoyed.

At the end of September, we attended the Oregon Air Show. Funnily enough, Jack’s favourite thing there was not an airplane, but rather a jet-powered big rig, which could accelerate to 300mph in about 11 seconds and overtake planes flying overhead. Continue reading “July – September 2018”

February – April 2017

This photo of Jack is a couple of weeks old, but was taken just as he was starting to feel better. Continue reading “Starting to feel better”

Morning smiles [VIDEO]

Luckily for us, Jack has found the joys of sleeping through the night. On a rough night, we might have to get up once and he’ll only sleep for 5 hours straight, but on most nights he’ll sleep for about 7 hours straight. This makes for a very happy man when heĀ does wake up.

I give you, Mr Smiles: Continue reading “Morning smiles [VIDEO]”
